Focus
Concentrated, one-week program run outside of Switzerland addressing
important trends and management competencies for successful business
practice at the international level.
The SEP generally proposes
lectures and/or industrial visits with contacts to members of the
business, academic and governmental communities who provide insight
into selected program topics, local management practice and current
affairs in developed, developing or emerging regions of the global
economy as relevant to Swiss business. Most recently, SKU SEPs have
focused on core managerial competencies such as entrepreneurial finance.
Participants
The SKU SEPs are designed as a post-diploma program for alumni of the SKU Advanced Management Program. By special application, members of the senior management of SKU client companies are also welcome, however priority will be given to SKU alumni.
Previous Senior Executive Programs
Earlier SKU Senior Executive Programs have highlighted business and management issues in Japan, Greater China (Taiwan – Hong Kong/Shenzhen – Shanghai), the USA («Change Management»), India (Delhi – Bangalore – Mumbai), Great Britain («Global Management» with the London Business School) and Asia («Targeting Competitiveness» in Thailand and Singapore).
With
the main SKU SKU Advanced Management Program's stronger focus on
entrepreneurial finance as from 2003, SKU has opened to SKU alumni its compact finance
module "Measuring, Creating and Sustaining Value" in London as a Senior Executive Program. (Read Statements, in German, by former SEP participants.)
Next SKU Senior Executive Program
In 2008, SKU redesigned its London-based programme 2009/2010 to reflect the dramatically changed economic environment and professional demands on our participants.
It retains our focus on understanding commonly used financial tools
– for analysing a balance sheet through to evaluating future
investments based on their net present value and internal rate of
return – newly also including strategic project finance.
It has however now been extended to address arising management and leadership challenges
of our increasingly more volatile business environment – risk
management, M&A, and most recent issues and developments in the
financial markets that stand to impact business the world over,
affecting both larger and smaller companies.
